You can tell it's going to be a hot one when the kids are in the pool at 7:30 in the morning

It was 105 degrees yesterday. When we look out our back yard we see the mountains on the other side of the valley, about 5 miles away. We haven't seen them for a few days now though because of the fires. You can see in the pic that visabiliy stops and hits a wall of grey smoke. I guess that's why we are supposed to stay inside :)
