I get jealous when people talk about how their kids are inseparable and run into each other's arms when reunited after playdates. I've been trying to send subliminal messages to encourage this behavior in my own children.
The last month or so when I am helping the boys say their prayers, I insert "thank you for my best friend Jackson" into Max's monologue about the park, the "bad" kid in Nursery, and his underwear.
I think it might be working- this what I woke up to this morning.

I hear you. My kids have a love/hate thing going on...heavy on the hate.
I remember hitting Andy in the back as hard as I could when he was a jerk to me growing up...and now he has back problems. But we're still friends, so it all works out in the end. (Deep thoughts, by Christian)
