Not a baby anymore

I've been telling Andy for months that it is time to get rid of the infant bouncy seat, but he insists that Carter still sits in it when he gets up with him in the morning (and am I really going to argue with the man that gets up with the baby so I can sleep in?).
So the other day when I was making dinner I thought I'd try it out. I strapped Carter in, turned on the TV (blah blah bad mom, I know) and went into the other room. Two minutes later the TV turns off, and since I knew Jackson and Max were outside I peeked in to see what happened. I saw this:

Still strapped in his seat, he came running over to give me a hug. I still crack up just thinking about it.
Nothing fazes this kid.

That made my day. I can just see it. How do you manage to get pictures though?! You're going to D.C.?! You should make a detour to Kansas...it's only like 15 hours away...

I can't believe Andy has never seen that! He must go back to sleep on the couch.
