It's been a whirlwind so far. The boys got out of school, spent a week at cub scout camp, and then we jumped in the car for our annual Utah pilgrimage.
We hiked Snow Canyon in St George where I discovered that Carter will follow his brothers anywhere. Even straight up a sheer cliff face. And that he will do it over and over again, despite the fact that it is impossible to get down without shedding blood.
I also learned how spoiled we all are- the boys were really excited to hike in the "desert". For about 3 minutes. When we got out of the car and it was 98 degrees at 9:00 in the morning, they were actually more excited about air conditioning. Luckily there were enough large boulders and caves and various other dangers that they were easily distracted from the heat.
