Marinos & Sons: New Chapter

I know most of you agree with me- the new year starts in September. New clothes, new pencil boxes, new schedule. With that in mind, I am going to ignore the date on my previous post (seriously. It's been over a year!?) and jump right in. In my defense, I've been busy.

Overheard

I was walking through the store with Carter when he lagged behind me quite a bit and I couldn't hear what he was saying. I told him he needed to talk louder and he yelled "I wasn't talking to you mom, I was talking to Heavenly Father!" (April 2013)

We had halibut the other night for dinner. Max did a great job trying something new, so we asked if he would like seconds. He said "No thanks. I'm not really a fish guy". (Feb 2012)

Carter was telling us that he learned about Three Agency at church on Sunday. "Oh, you mean Free Agency" I said. Carter answered, "No. Three Agency. Cause I'm three." (Jan 2012)

Carter was running around the house telling everyone that they were farting. (I know, too many boys at my house). When he got to me, Max said "Girls don't fart Carter!" Jackson replied "Yes they do, but it doesn't stink. Girls only have nice smells." (May 2011)

Carter usually sleeps in a onesie but the other night it was quite warm. When I didn't put it on, Carter said "Mommy we forgot to put on my zombie!". (March 2011)

Carter was standing up in the bathtub and looked down. "Look mommy, I have a tail". (Dec 2010)

Carter was sitting at the table coloring when he tried using a white crayon on his white paper. "This one is broken, it needs new batteries". (Oct 2010)

Max came running in after school shouting "Mom, my hat isn't lost! It was in the Lost & Fountain!" (Sept 2010)

I asked Carter if he was ready to go pick up Jackson and Max. He replied "Not today mom. Maybe tomorrow." (Oct 2010)
